Jared was amazing at the Wisconsin High School State Track and Field Championships in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He was seeded #1 in both the 110 high hurdles and 300 intermediate hurdles. He also competed in the triple jump and the 800 meter relay, but he got really sick 3 days before and didn't feel any better and to make things worse he even lost 10 pounds in those 3 days. We prayed and prayed that he would feel better but he still did amazing! He placed 8th in triple jump and wasn't able to run in the 800 meter relay because he wasn't feeling good.
Jared is the State Champion for the 110 high hurdles (he is in Lane 4 above) and placed a close 2nd in the 300 intermediate hurdles (seriously he was in 1st the entire 290 meters and at the last minute this other kid was right next to Jared and it all came down to a head tilt and .02 miliseconds)
I was so happy to be there to cheer him on, and Brynn liked to take her naps during his races. :)
